Reach Words · Effective August 31, 2026
The short version
Your words stay on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What the app stores
Everything you capture — words, sentences, notes, and your practice
history — is stored locally on your device. There is no account and no
cloud database. Deleting a word in the app removes it; deleting the app
removes everything.
What leaves your device
Two features send text to our server, which relays it to OpenAI to generate
learning content:
- Confirming a meaning — the captured word, its source
sentence, and your note are sent to produce a definition and practice cues.
- Checking a practice sentence — the word, its confirmed
meaning, and the sentence you wrote are sent to produce feedback.
These requests carry no identifiers — no name, email, account, device ID,
or location. OpenAI processes them as a service provider under its API terms and
does not use them to train models. Our infrastructure (Cloudflare) keeps temporary
technical logs of requests, including their text, for debugging and abuse
prevention; the oldest logs are deleted automatically.
What we don’t do
- No analytics or tracking SDKs
- No advertising
- No selling or sharing of your data
Your choices
Delete any word inside the app, or delete the app to remove all data.
